This is the best dictionary out there, and not a ripoff

This is the original, as opposed to the abridged. The story behind the publication is thus: the SerboCroatian-English Dictionary was written by Biljana Sljivic-Simsic as a graduate assistant, and Morton Benson put his name on it. When this book was published, he simply flipped it around and didn't give her credit. Then he published an abridged two-way dictionary, also with only his name on it. The only person doing the ripping off was Morton Benson, not any particular publisher.

there is nothing actually wrong with the content of this abridged version of really great dictionary – there is enough words here to make you understand everything. still, i remember the previous editions of this book as much better organized and with much better print. this dictionary is poorly organized, which makes the Introduction hard to understand, and its print is rather bad, which makes the Introduction Content and Dictionary itself hard to read/reference.
