Good second guide

I really liked the pictures and history presented in the Insight Guide to Egypt. Their maps, text, and photos provide a very rich overview of your trip and will make a good souvenir after you've been.

However, for day-to-day details, suggested iteneraries, and getting from place to place, it comes up short. Pick up a copy of the Lonely Planet Guide to Egypt and use this guide for what it does best: pictures and text.
