More Info
It is a great pity that, unfortunately, it is to the choir that Peter Pry preaches. His current work, WAR SCARE, follows in the footsteps of his earlier works on the Israeli nuclear program and the strategic nuclear balance of the Cold War. All are meticulously researched and written. Those who don't want to hear the message won't read the book. However, those who yearn to know how dangererous the Cold War was, and how dangerous the current international environment is, will read the book. WAR SCARE details how close the world came to nuclear annhilation in the early 1980s and over and over again well into the Clinton Administration. The details of WAR SCARE, when coupled with the findings of the Cox Committee's report on Communist Chinese nuclear espionage, lead one to seriously question who the Clinton Administration serves, the American people, or themselves, or, more ominously, someone else. WAR SCARE ought to be in the required reading list of all American History/Government/Civics classes.

WAR SCARE is one of those rare books that should be required reading for every student and adult in America because of its historic and strategic importance. If you have not read WAR SCARE you probably have an inadequate understanding of the significance of Russian geopolitical power or its imminent threat to the United States. It is not only well written and engaging, it is also written by someone who has the background to know what he is talking about - Peter Vincent Pry - a former CIA Agent who has the background and experience to tell the story as it should be told. The most frightening thing about WAR SCARE is not necessarily that the Russians are indeed preparing to destroy the United States in a nuclear holocaust, but that current politically correct globalist thought in Washington is actually actively assisting them in the process. The most astonishing thing about WAR SCARE is its stark truth - not even whispered by the mainstream media. If this book is true - it spells out the last chapter of America written by someone with inside information. It tells the shameful story of a nation actively disarming itself while another nation aggressively prepares to destroy it. While most would dismiss the book as conspiratorial nonsense, not one will be able to deny or easily explain away the truth that many insiders in Washington not only have personal fallout shelters, but have evacuated their families in times of crisis in the recent past. Meanwhile, the Civil Defense program of the rest of America has been dismantled, leaving the populace without personal recourse. The ultimate irony in that truth is the book's relative obscurity. While it should be read in the halls of Congress and in the open square, it is lying dormant and Mr. Pry's voice unheard. In the end, historians may find in its pages the clear and unambiguous warning that fell on deaf ears.
