More Info
This small book (just 72 pages) consists basically of a collection of (very good) pictures, with its respective legends, most of them unpublished until now (at least in the books I got). The stile is similar to "Aircraft of The Luftwaffe Fighter Aces", from Bernd Barbas's, made only over pictures and practically without technical text. Noteworthy is the initial section, with 10 (ten) WWII original color pictures (the pictures are without credits but I guess they are from the autor or from the famous Jeff Ethell's private collection). A small four pages introduction summarizes the action of Luftwaffe in eastern front, from 1941 to the end of the War. The pictures, most in close-ups, are an excellent reference for modelers. As this book is part of a collection, which covers the Luftwaffe action over all fronts, I recommend the purchase of all of them. (note: although being a very good book, as it consists basically of pictures, without any other technical information, I don't thing it desires a higher score)
From Amazon.com
This book contains many photographs of the luftwaffe and its pilots fighting the Red Army. It has great pictures with descriptions and is very interesting and fairly informative. If you are looking for some very light reading and some great pictures, this book is for you. However I do not recommend this book for those doing an in depth study of the subject.
