Moscow: Rossiya Hotel

Overview

Built in 1967, the 3-star Hotel Rossiya is one of the largest hotels in the world - and certainly the largest Moscow hotel. Its central location and easy access to the political, business and cultural centers of Moscow will provide you with an excellent base of operations for your stay in Moscow. The hotel is only three minutes walk from Red Square, the Kremlin and the Kitay Gorod metro station.

Accommodation

Hotel Rossiya provides 2,876 rooms from which you can choose a single, double or semi-suite or suite. The rooms are basic but the location of the hotel makes up for any lack of style and comfort you might find in more expensive hotels.(Note: Double beds are only available in renovated double rooms). All the hotel rooms have a bathroom, telephone with international dialing, TV and refrigerator. IMPORTANT:
*All Kremlin view rooms take much longer than our normal 2-day period to confirm due to restricted availability and high demand.
* For security reasons, the hotel has a strict policy that only ther persons named on the voucher will be allowed to stay in the room, so please ensure that you add names of all passengers in your booking.

Restaurants and Bars

At the Hotel Rossiya, they offer a wide variety of dining and drinking options in the restaurants, bars, and cafes. Please note that breakfast is not included in room price but is available locally at $7.00 USD per breakfast.

Facilities

In addition to a laundry service, they also offer dry cleaning. There is a hair dresser, currency exchange, post office situated in the hotel as well as souvenir shops and a newspaper desk. Also on site is the "Zaryadje" cinema and "Manhattan Express" nightclub. Parking is available at the hotel.

Meeting Facilities

The Rossiya has 5 conference halls seating 20 to 180 people which are available for meetings and seminars. The Rossiya business centre (on East side of hotel) can provide fax, copier, word processing, typing services and interpreters. There is also a computer available with Internet access.
